Biography

Mr. Remy Pacifique NTIRENGANYA is a global health executive and licensed pharmacist with more than 14 years of experience leading high-impact health initiatives at both national and international levels.

His work spans health systems strengthening, pharmacy workforce development, procurement and supply chain management, and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs.

He currently serves as Regional Director for Africa at the Vennue Foundation, Deputy Chairperson of the Rwanda National Pharmacy Council, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Rwanda. He also provides consulting services in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and procurement and supply chain management to a range of organizations.

Pacifique represents the Vennue Foundation on the World Health Organization Civil Society Taskforce on Antimicrobial Resistance and has held senior leadership roles with Village Health Works and Partners In Health across Rwanda, Liberia, and Burundi. He currently serves on Rwanda's National Antimicrobial Resistance Technical Working Group and previously served on Liberia's National Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Steering Committee and Rwanda's Pharmacy Technical Working Group.

He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Philosophy in Public Health from the University of Rwanda, as well as a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School.

Biography

Mr. Israel BIMPE is the CEO of Irembo, a Rwandan technology company that develops platforms to help governments and companies manage digital workflows for services management and payments. With IremboGov and IremboPay, Irembo digitizes and automates siloed processes for Government institutions and Enterprises. Israel previously served on Irembo’s Board of Directors. Before Irembo, Israel was the Director of Africa Go-To-Market at Zipline, leading the expansion of Zipline across the continent. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles across the company, including partnerships, operations, and national implementations. He also serves as Chairperson of the Board of the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency, and is a member of the Board of several enterprises.

As a second-year student at the University of Rwanda's School of Pharmacy, Israel led the launch of MedInspire, a public-lecture series that brought prominent professionals to campus. The next year he became Student Exchange and External Relations Officer of the Rwanda Pharmacy Students' Association, then its President, a post he held alongside Regional Relationships Officer for the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation's African office (IPSF-AfRO). He went on to chair IPSF-AfRO while serving as Vice President of IPSF, and in 2016 was elected President of the federation, representing more than 150,000 pharmacy students from over 100 associations worldwide

Biography

Mr. Alain SHINGIRO MUNEZERO is a licensed pharmacist with a strong focus on medicine regulation and global health.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rwanda and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery, One Health option, at the University of Global Health Equity. He also has advanced biomedical expertise from the University of Koblenz through the Biomex program.

Alain has received training in human drug assessment, pharmacovigilance, vaccine safety surveillance, leadership, and project management.

He has gained more than 3 years of practical experience in regulatory science with the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority, where he served as a local assessor for medicines seeking market authorization.

He has demonstrated leadership at national and international levels, serving as Regional Projects Officer for the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation African Regional Office (IPSF-AfRO) from 2022 to 2023 and President of the Rwanda Pharmaceutical Students' Association (RPSA) from 2021 to 2022. He also served as School Representative of Medicine and Pharmacy and as a URSU Advisor.

An alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Center East Africa, Alain has over 10 years of experience coordinating projects across leadership roles. His interests include global health, One Health approaches, and strengthening medicine regulatory systems.
